option to display future posts

i would like to display my upcoming events... for example an event (which is a standard post) on june 13th should be visible from the time i create it, even if it´s may and i set the publishing date on june 13th.

i found some plugins for displaying those future posts, but i can´t combine with flexible recent posts, which looks just the way I want it...
